Brash & Vulgar

February 2, 2009

Farringdon record emporium Pure Groove continue to plunder the musical path covered in aceness, with The Hundred In Hands the latest band launched via bungee from the Brooklyn Bridge into a vat of hotly tippedness and surfacing with finely coiffured look intact on the shop’s own fledgling imprint with their track Dressed In Dresden.

The original might find favour with Durrrrrrrrrrrrr resident Rory Phillips but with us being of a disco persuasion right now it’s the b side remix by DFA alumni Jacques Renault (him out of Runaway) snappily re-imagined as Undressed In Dresdenwhich turns it into a proper late night Brooklyn club jam.
