Fledgling Bristol producer Plimsouls got in touch recently, which was very nice as I have been enjoying the remixes by him posted on fluokids and electric zoo. I asked him to put together a mix for slutty fringe and he agreed, which was even nicer!

Enough mixes yo! The ever excellent Merok Records, previously responsible for nudging the limelight on Klaxons, Crystal Castles and The Teenagers are continuing to push the new, noisey and exciting.
Their next release is a split single that sqaurely throws the focus on Japanese singer Akiko, who I remember seeing lots on Naughty James’ photoblog a few years back. In the one corner is Comanechi, who are most certainly on a chaotic Royal Trux vibe (which is a good thing) and in the other corner is Pre who sound slightly less haphazard and more like if the girls from Blonde Redhead were sat on your face in a crack / MDMA orgy apparently….
